I bought the Hybrid Calisthenics eBook .I like to exercise in the morning, but don't like bright screens, so I have it saved on my eink e-reader. I love the detail, pictures, and tips on making each exercise harder or easier. I also love that the tone of voice sounds like Hampton, so I feel like I am being positively coached along.
I created my own tracker to track my progress in number of reps per set, too. And have improved on my squats, pushups, and twists most notably after a few weeks. If I had one bit of feedback for the eBook, it would be that there was a table of contents that could be read by an eReader, so that I could jump to a page when I need to. Luckily, my device allows me to create my own bookmarks, but I am not sure everyone else has that option. Other than that, it is perfect.

Great book! Great exercises, very good illustrations and tips.
Only thing that could be better with the ebook is that you have to jump around a lot. What exercises do I need to do to day? What are legraises again? In a physical book you would just use a few post-its, but it's a bit more complicated with a PDF. A backlink to the routine and on the routine page a short link to all exercises would make it a 6 star book!

Great book helping me with starting to live a more active lifestyle. One suggestion I would make is adding tabs for easy maneuvering between exercises. I refer to the book often to review form and what the levels are, but it would be easier to go from section to section if it had tabs.

I wasn't familiar with the YouTube channel, but after reading the book and watching a few videos, the book's tone makes perfect sense. It is clear and concise, with many options for each movement to ensure everyone can participate. My friends (25-65 in age) and I have been doing these movements together at the park, and it's been a lot of fun.

Not only does it include advanced level training it also works on progression breakdown training for people (like me) who have 0 knowledge of calisthenics.
I have a poor level of mobility, if I'm being honest; as well as am very out of shape, at 49 y.o.
I feel confident that this book covers everything I need to start off and progress to where I need to be.
I can't recommend highly enough and hope an App to coincide with the book is released soon.

This book is awesome. It really teaches you the basics that you need to have in case you want a strong and healthy body, which you can later customize for what your goal is (gymnastic, bodybuilder, acrobat..., idk what else). I found it quite suprising how only a little adjustment can make excersice much harder (and better).
If you want another great sources to learn how to train, here they are:
I think there is few more great books for flexibility (and strenght in that new range of motion) from MovementsByDavid (YT), when I got them, he had 4 free and 1 paid, I would recommend them too because they"re more focused on flexibility than this one.
One last channel that I would recommend is probably SquatUniversity (I am not really sure if its focused on some particular area of training or not).
I like Hybrid Calisthenics (YT) the most of these, probably because of how does he make them. You can just feel from him that he's an awesome person

I cannot speak more highly of Hampton’s book. Suffice to say it, combined with his online videos, made exercise enjoyable. I have had two total knee replacements and on the road to recovery have found Hampton to provide the most thoughtful and achievable exercises which I can easily incorporate at any level into my daily activity. Although in my late 60s I am now more confident and physically capable than I was 20 years ago. I've taken guidance from Hampton’s exercises, philosophy and his approach on to how to actively engage with living. A real inspiration.

I am 42 (f) and walk A LOT but having always played sport when I was younger I have noticed a significant reduction in my upper body and core strength. I used to watch lots of hybrid calisthenics clips and found them very helpful but I wanted more. I love the ease of the exercises because the levels are dependent on your actual strength now (not some future muscle bound warrior), I couldn't do a proper pushup if my life depended on it but slowly I am making significant progress. The sets are easy to fit in a daily routine and because I can go at my pace I don't have muscle strain the next day and can keep training. The progressions are really good on each exercise so it never gets too easy. I can't speak more highly of the hybrid fitness routines.
